During autumn 1996, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Gaizse Music composed, recorded, and mixed a demo version of “My Only Friend” and released the song as a stand alone work on its second album, A Sneak E.P. In autumn 1997, Gaizse Music decided to incorporate “My Only Friends,” a remixed and slightly renamed version of the song, into a much larger sound piece “My Only Friends://Lament of Azsulo,” which will appear on Gaizse Music’s forthcoming release, Tales of The Banished & Elite. “My Only Friends” includes guitar, sampling, programming, and vocals by Kerry d’Noit and sampling and programming by Liam d’Noit.
